The JPA Chair, Mathew Shaer, was delighted and honoured to attend a Jewish Care event held at the Metropolitan Police Peel Centre in Hendon.
The event was a Celebration of Success Staff Awards Ceremony to recognise and pay tribute to its entire staff for their immense work and dedication. Over 200 people attended the celebration.
The event celebrated the achievements of over 120 Jewish Care employees and awarded both teams and individuals who had displayed the Jewish Care values through all of their hard work. The event demonstrated the value Jewish Care places on developing its staff and recognising commitment while delivering a high standard of care to the Jewish community.
Guest speaker at the event Jeff Wolfin, founder and CEO of Humanicity praised Jewish Care’s Celebration of Success saying, “it is a unique event, embodying Jewish Care’s warmth, while honouring its staff for their achievements and development.”
Setting the scene for the evening’s events, the guests were shown a short film featuring staff discussing their experience of working for Jewish Care and about why the charity is one of the best places to work. Further entertainment included a special musical performance given by Paul Jarvis, care co-ordinator at Jewish Care’s Stepney Jewish Day Centre.
