A lively JPA Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 11th May 2011 at the world famous New Scotland Yard.

The out-going Chair, Mathew Shaer, gave a full and frank account of the previous 12 months that had witnessed significant JPA progress and development. Highlights included a JPA designed and funded personal and professional development programme for members. Also, the running of a highly successful Faith Awareness event for Met Police members of staff.

On the social and community side the Chanukah, Purim and Holocaust Memorial events were widely acknowledged as particularly successful.

The out-going Executive were honoured to be voted back in for 2011-12 and were delighted to be joined by Daniel Morris as the Youth Officer.

Talking about the forthcoming year the ‘newly’ re-elected Chair spoke of significant plans for a new independent national Association structure, as well as a major recruitment campaign that was being planned for.
